REWORKING THE PAST
Existing jewellery can become the starting point of a new piece.
Inherited gold, stones or fragments—often no longer worn—are reworked and transformed, allowing their material and memory to continue in a different form.
Rather than preserving the object as it was, the process allows it to evolve—holding a sense of continuity while opening to something new.
A CONTINUOUS PRESENCE
From the first exchange to the final making, each stage is followed closely.
The process remains direct and considered, allowing the piece to develop with precision—both in form and in its relationship to the body.
What emerges is not only a finished object, but something that has been shaped over time, through attention and dialogue.
THE PROCESS
The process begins with a conversation—an exchange of references, ideas, memories or materials.
From there, the work develops through a series of stages: initial direction, material research, form exploration and refinement.
Throughout, there is a continuous dialogue, allowing the piece to evolve with clarity and intention.
MATERIALS
Materials are central to the process. Precious metals and stones are selected for their qualities, but also for their capacity to hold meaning.
Where possible, existing materials—such as inherited gold or personal stones—can be reworked and integrated into the piece, allowing it to carry a deeper continuity.
Glass Granulation and lapidary processes often play a key role, introducing texture, light and subtle variations that make each piece unique.
TIMING
Each piece is made to order and requires time.
On average, the process takes around 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the complexity of the work.
In some cases, timelines may be shorter.
