Black Calla explores botanical form through
hand-carved Whitby jet and 18ct gold.
Inspired by the calla lily, the collection reduces the flower to its essential curves, contrasting the depth of black jet with the luminosity of gold.
Traditional granulation introduces a finely textured detail, while the carving gives each piece its sculptural presence.
The Black Calla Brooch received a Silver Award at the Goldsmiths’ Craft & Design Council Awards 2025.
