The Sea, as Italian naturally present in my DNA, has always been source of great inspiration.
Fascinated by the elegance and the aura of mystery that surrounds jellyfish (Meduse in Italian) I wanted to pay tribute to these creatures making a new collection.
On Earth for at list 500 million years these beautiful animals can be very small (from 1 millimeter to 2 meters in height and diameter and more) and can be very different in colours and shapes. They have also a quite complex life cycle and the “medusa” is normally the sexual phase. Jellyfish are all over the world and, in contrast with their elegance and beauty can be very dangerous.
Beauty and Danger, Elegance and Mystery: there are all the ingredients for stories full of suspence!
…and my way to tell stories is making “wearable stories”, jewellery that brings all the excitement that the inspiration gives to my imagination.
