Statement piece for a woman who likes to dare with elegance.
This piece is a synthesis of Francesca’s work in the last years. The choice of ovals has been paramount in the evolution of her work trying to find the most elegant and feminine shape that can be replicated and combined in different sizes in order to make the final piece harmonious, wearable and comfortable, following the shape and the movements of the body. Other important elements of the research are reflections and colours, balancing the light. Glass Granulation is a technique that gives its best in real life, when the movement enhances the tridimensionality of the pieces and allows unexpected reflections. The name of the piece, part of the Volcanic Treasure Collection, is inspired by the blue little blue blossoms that sprout in spring at the foot of the volcano, a sign of the fertility of the soil and of the life that is reborn after the destruction caused by the eruption.

*In her selection for the Elements Exhibition 2021 the jewellery expert, Director of MAD About Jewellery at the Museum of Art and Design in New York Bryna Pomp wrote about this necklace:
In my decades long career I have never seen anyone utilizing glass granulation, so I really loved the originality of Francesca’s body of work as soon as I discovered it several years ago. Her simple shapes in silver provide a perfect background for the bursts of tiny pastel, silver, and golden glass beads that brilliantly decorate these surfaces. This necklace that I love so much has such an innovative, modern elegance to it. Click HERE to know more
