Ebony & Gold
I my research about different materials, contrasts and balance, I fund very interesting the use of Ebony, one of the most precious kind of wood, and Gold, one of the most precious kind of metal.
Ebony is dark, light and silky to the touch, yellow gold is luminous and malleable: working with the two together is like playing with the light: each of the two enhances the qualities of the other. Adding diamonds or other stones gives to the pieces a charming, even more precious look.
Francesca’s favourite gold alloy is 18ct: it contains the ideal quantity of gold in its alloy to ensure that its brightness and beauty last over time, maintaining its value.
Making ethical Jewellery, we use just recycled gold and silver and the stones, carefully selected, are recycled or from traceable sources.
Every Piece is born from Francesca’s mind and hands, with the collaboration of high qualified craftsmen. The result is a perfect balance between accurate making, originality, elegance and practicality.
