Gold and Whitby Jet Bracelet

A sinuous line of gold curves around the wrist, gathering into a tactile composition of Whitby Jet and granular detail made of gold and glass granules. The jet forms the visual weight of the piece: opaque, rounded and intensely black, in contrast with the warmth and reflected light of the gold. Fluid and deliberately asymmetric, the bracelet is conceived as a small wearable sculpture, bringing movement, surface and material into direct relation with the body.
Handcrafted by Francesca Marcenaro, the ring reflects her exploration of contrasting materials, fluid forms and tactile surfaces.
This Piece can be cast in Fairtrade metals, or in a Client’s own gold and/or stones.
