Leaf Bracelet

The Leaf Bracelet carries the elongated leaf around the wrist. Its curved profile shifts as the hand turns, allowing the piece to be read from changing angles rather than as a fixed frontal form.
Glass Granulation builds a tactile surface within the gilded silver contour. A white pearl introduces a concentrated point of light, while marcasite adds depth and mineral contrast.
The bracelet develops Material in Motion through the relationship between surface, reflection and the moving body.

TECHNIQUE
Glass Granulation is a technique developed and carried out personally by Francesca Marcenaro in her studio. Small rounded glass granules are positioned to metal by hand, creating surfaces whose reflections change with light and movement.
