At 8.3 cm long, the Long Leaf Earrings extend the fluid line of LEAVES beside the face. Their curved profiles move with the wearer, producing subtle changes in spacing, reflection and silhouette.
Smooth gilded silver edges frame richly textured fields of Glass Granulation. White pearls create luminous interruptions, while marcasite retains the darker mineral character of Volcanic Treasure.
Through their length and movement, the earrings make Material in Motion immediately visible.

TECHNIQUE
Glass Granulation is a technique developed and carried out personally by Francesca Marcenaro in her studio. Small rounded glass granules are positioned to metal by hand, creating surfaces whose reflections change with light and movement.
