MAKE JEWELLERY WITH THE “VENETIAN FLOWERS” TECHNIQUE

If you are fascinated by this antique technique and you would like to learn how it works to make your own piece of jewellery, this is your workshop.
No prior experience is necessary.
You will be encouraged to put your personality in the making process and the final piece will be one of a kind.
At the end of this creative workshop, you will not only go home with your piece by you but also with the skills and knowledge to create more pieces for yourself, to give as gifts or even sell in your own business.
Course content
In this course you’ll learn:
- Tools and materials required for Venice Flowers technique making
- Information on how to continue your journey from home
- How to take care of your pieces
- Health & Safety
- Tips and tricks
- Please bring an apron to protect your clothes
This workshop is limited to a maximum of two people, it runs for eight hours (two sessions of four hours each) and it takes place in Francesca’s studio at the Goldsmiths’ Centre in London..
Materials are included in the workshop fee.
Francesca Marcenaro designs and creates jewellery with a passion for experimentation and art.
In the course of her creative research, drawing inspiration from the “Flowers of Venice”, large beaded flowers that adorned the homes of rich Venetians, Francesca used the same technique to create always different necklaces.
These are unique pieces with the ancient charm of the beads searched with passion and found with enthusiasm in the warehouses of the old factories of Murano.
