The Medium Leaf Earrings bring the elongated leaf motif into a six-centimetre vertical form. Their opposing curves frame the face, while the asymmetry of each leaf keeps the composition in motion.
Glass Granulation gathers light across the inner surfaces, held by smooth gilded silver contours. White pearls introduce luminous focal points and marcasite adds a precise mineral counterpoint.
The earrings express the transition from volcanic surface to organic growth through form, texture and movement.

TECHNIQUE
Glass Granulation is a technique developed and carried out personally by Francesca Marcenaro in her studio. Small rounded glass granules are positioned to metal by hand, creating surfaces whose reflections change with light and movement.
