Small Leaf Earrings

The Small Leaf Earrings bring the LEAVES profile into a compact 3.7 cm form. The paired curves sit close to the face, where small movements alter the angle of the leaves and the way their surfaces catch light.

Gilded silver defines the smooth outer line, while Glass Granulation builds a tactile interior. White pearls provide luminous points and marcasite adds darker contrast, preserving the material tension at the centre of Volcanic Treasure.

TECHNIQUE

Glass Granulation is a technique developed and carried out personally by Francesca Marcenaro in her studio. Small rounded glass granules are positioned to metal by hand, creating surfaces whose reflections change with light and movement.
