Gold and Whitby Jet Necklace

This asymmetrical necklace brings together the deep black surface of polished Whitby jet and the warm luminosity of gold. A delicate progression of gold and glass granules extends upwards from the jet drop, gradually dispersing along the gold neckpiece and creating a subtle movement of texture and light.
The slender open form follows the line of the neck, while the softly curved opposite end balances the pendant without imposing strict symmetry. The result is a light yet distinctive piece in which ornament, structure and fastening become part of a single continuous composition.
Handcrafted by Francesca Marcenaro, the necklace reflects her exploration of organic forms, tactile surfaces and contrasts between precious materials.
This Piece can be cast in Fairtrade metals, or in a Client’s own gold and/or stones.
