The collection began with Francesca Marcenaro’s exploration of ebony: its depth of colour, resistance, smooth tactile surface and distinctive response to light.

The wood is hand-carved into compact domes, elongated drops and wing-like forms. Diamonds, marcasite, silver and Glass Granulation interrupt its dark surface, creating controlled points of reflection as each piece moves.

Worn on the body, the jewellery shifts between opacity and luminosity, visual weight and tactile smoothness. Through this relationship between material, light and wearer, the collection develops Material in Motion through the meeting of wood, metal, stone and glass.
